BEARINGS MARKING AND ORDERING.
Each large-size bearing is marked with alphanumeric symbol. This symbol univocally determines basic constructional parameters of the bearing and it contains several elements, as follows: Element
| I | II | III | IV | V | VI | VII | VIII | IX |
Element I - determines the bearing type.
Particular types of bearings are marked as follows: 1.2P - single-row ball bearing of two point contact with the raceway,
1.4P - single-row ball bearing of four point contact with the raceway,
l.KW - single-row roller bearing (parallel rollers),
l.KS - single-row roller bearing (tapered rollers),
2.2P - double-row ball bearing of two point ball contact with the raceway in each row,
2.4P - double-row ball bearing of four point ball contact withthe raceway in each row.
Element II - determines teeth occurence and sort in the bearing which is marked as follows:
Z - external teeth
W - internal teeth
B - without teeth.
Element III - determines heat treating condition of teeth which is marked as follows:
N - normalized
T - toughened
H - surface hardened
0 - for non-toothed bearings.
Element IV - determines rolling element diameter in bearing carrying row (in mm).
Element V - determines nominal pitch diameter of rolling elements carrying row (in mm).
Element VI - determines material quality and heat treating condition for external ring.
Particular material qualities and its heat treating condition are marked as follows:
0 - C45 normalized steel,
1 - C45 toughened steel,
2 - 41Cr4 normalized steel,
3 - 41Cr4 toughened steel,
4 - 42CrMo4 normalized steel,
5 - 42CrMo4 toughened steel.
Element VII - determines material quality and heat treating condition for internal ring.
Particular material qualities and its heat treating condition are marked the same as for external ring.
Element VIII - determines following constructional version of the bearing resulting from technological progress or customer's requirements.
Element IX - determines raceway geometry version and the range of raceway treating for the following bearings types 1.2P, 1.4P, 2.2P, 2.4P.
When placing orders one should make use of the above marking, which is the number of given bearing assembly drawing at the same time. There is a possibility to make changes in relation to constructional version presented in the catalogue after agreement with bearings producer. Bearing marking will be properly changed after introducing modifications. In orders besides bearing marking one should give other reguirements that differ from conditions presented in the catalogue.
